I've been taking Reformer classes for 6 months and consider myself a new student of Pilates. I ordered this manual so that I could review exercises before classes (I'm an overachiever!) and track my progress. This manual has already helped me to identify areas that I can work on and has increased my understanding of the exercises. The photos are high quality and illustrate body positions in excellent detail. I love how Ms. Wilks, the author, has organized the information for each exercise into easy-to-follow sections. I am going to order the Mat Work Manual Level One next and progress from there. These manuals are helpful for both instructors and students. Love this series - Get them all!!!

A great Instructor manual for instructors new to pilates....As a personal trainer this book has been fantastic to use for creating a class plan for my pilates class clients. Am definately getting the next one..

Catherine's books are the best I have found. The great thing is she was with Body Control Pilates many years ago so her explanation of the exercises and instructions are where we are coming from. I'm about to invest in her reformer books.
Her books are fab!! I have all the ones for Mat Work, Reformer and Foam Roller!! They have great info in them too!
